UniVent Refund Policy

Disclaimer
This document is a translation for reference only.
The original version is written in Korean, and in case of any discrepancy, the Korean version shall prevail.

UniVent is a telecommunication sales intermediary under applicable laws and is not a party to any transaction; all responsibility for the sale, fulfillment, and refund of events and products lies with the seller.
UniVent does not guarantee the safety or legality of transactions or the truthfulness of seller information, and bears no responsibility for disputes or damages arising therefrom.
If the seller has established a separate refund policy, that policy takes precedence to the extent permitted by applicable laws.
Detailed standards not set out in this policy are determined by UniVent in its operational policies and notified within the Service.

1. Withdrawal of Purchase

Event Tickets

Refunds are processed according to the refund policy set by the seller.

  • If the seller has not set a refund policy: refunds are available until the event starts.
  • If the seller has set a refund policy: the refund rate defined for each period applies, and the penalty is deducted. If the seller has set different refund policies for different tickets, the policy of each ticket applies and is shown on the application screen.
  • After the event starts: refunds are not available in principle. If the seller has allowed refunds after the event starts, those conditions apply.
  • If the seller has configured refund requests to be processed upon approval, refund requests are processed after the seller’s approval.

The same rules as for event tickets also apply to cloakroom tickets, paid waiting list (on-site waiting) payments, and tickets for quick events (Beongae).

Product Orders

Refunds are processed according to the refund policy set by the seller and are generally handled as follows.

  • Within 7 days of receipt: withdrawal of purchase available
  • Otherwise: penalty set by the seller is deducted

Cheer Payments

  • Cheer payments are refunded together with ticket refunds.
  • Once ticket refunds are restricted, such as after the event starts, the cheer payment is not refunded either.
  • Detailed standards for refunding cheer payments are determined by UniVent and notified within the Service.

2. Restrictions on Withdrawal

Event Tickets

Withdrawal of purchase may be restricted in the following cases.

  • The event service has already begun or has been used by the buyer
  • The payment includes a ticket that has been transferred (if a refund does proceed, the refund amount is paid to the original payer)
  • The payment includes a ticket that has already been checked in (the participant cannot request a refund directly and must contact the seller to have it processed)
  • Settlement of the payment is in progress or has been completed (the seller cannot process the refund directly, and the payment is handled according to the procedure notified by UniVent)
  • The buyer was marked as a no-show after paying for an on-site waiting list
  • Fraudulent use such as refund abuse is suspected (the refund may be withheld while the seller or UniVent reviews the case)
  • Other cases where withdrawal is restricted under applicable laws

Product Orders

Withdrawal of purchase may be restricted in the following cases.

  • The product is lost or damaged due to reasons attributable to the buyer (excluding packaging damage necessary to check the contents)
  • The product’s value has significantly decreased due to use or partial consumption by the buyer
  • The product’s value has significantly decreased over time, making resale difficult
  • The packaging of reproducible digital content or software has been damaged
  • The seller has notified in advance that withdrawal is restricted, such as for made-to-order products
  • A product for on-site pickup was not collected within the period set by the seller
  • The payment includes a product that has been transferred (if a refund does proceed, the refund amount is paid to the original payer)
  • Other cases where withdrawal is restricted under applicable laws

3. Refund Procedure

Refund Fee Information
Refund fees may apply depending on the payment method; please refer to the following.
· Safe Payment refund fees
· Electronic Payment: subject to the policy of the PG provider contracted by the seller

The procedure depends on the payment method used by the seller.

Safe Payment

UniVent only intermediates the transaction and is not a party to it; the decision on and responsibility for refunds lie with the seller.
Refunds are processed to the original payment method in accordance with the refund policy, and if the seller has configured refunds to be processed upon approval, after the seller’s approval.
Cancellation of the approval on the original payment method may take time depending on the processing schedule of the card company or payment gateway provider, and processing may be carried over to the next day during bank maintenance hours and the like.
For payment methods that incur a refund fee, the fee is deducted from the refund amount, and refunds may not be processed if the refund amount is equal to or less than the fee. The fee standards follow the pricing information.
Payments for which settlement is in progress or has been completed cannot be refunded directly by the seller and are handled according to the procedure notified by UniVent.

Electronic Payment (PG)

This payment method is directly contracted between the seller and a PG provider; the seller is responsible for and handles refunds.
Refunds proceed to the original payment method or by a method designated by the seller, according to the seller’s policy.

Direct Transaction (Bank Transfer)

The seller processes refunds directly via bank transfer or similar means, with specific arrangements agreed upon with the seller.
Payments made by overseas users through external payment links (e.g., PayPal) also fall under this category, and refunds are handled directly by the seller.

Non-member Payments

This policy applies equally to payments made without registering as a member, such as at on-site sales. Refunds are requested by the method indicated on the payment completion screen and the receipt.
