UniVent is a platform that helps anyone easily and enjoyably create, sell, and take part in events and products.
Please follow the guidelines below so everyone can use UniVent with peace of mind! You can find the detailed rules in the UniVent Terms of Service.

1. Treat Each Other with Respect

  • Content/products that discriminate against or express hatred toward specific people or groups based on gender, gender identity, race, religion, region, disability, age, nationality, etc., or that stir up conflict, are not allowed.
  • If you break this rule, the content/product will be removed and your account may be restricted.

2. No Offensive or Threatening Content

  • Sexual, violent, hateful, or threatening expressions can’t be used anywhere in event or product descriptions.
  • Content that may make participants/buyers uncomfortable is also not allowed.

3. Never Break the Law

  • Illegal gambling, illegal drugs, copyright-infringing content, counterfeit goods, trading in personal information, and the like are not allowed.
  • If a legal violation is confirmed, the event/product will be removed immediately and, if necessary, may be reported to the relevant authorities.

4. No Hoarding, Scalping, or Unfair Resale

  • Buying event tickets or products in bulk to resell them, ticket scalping, and manipulating resale prices are not allowed.
  • For events and products where the organizer or seller allows transfers, you can hand over tickets and products using UniVent’s official transfer feature. Handing them over for money outside the official feature is not allowed.
  • Selling or trading transfer codes or invitation codes for money is also not allowed.
  • Such acts may be punished under applicable laws such as the Public Performance Act, and your UniVent account will also be suspended.
  • UniVent can’t verify or recover tickets or money exchanged outside UniVent, and can’t help if a dispute arises.

5. Prohibited Items for Sale

The following products can’t be registered on UniVent.

  • Alcohol, tobacco, e-cigarette liquids, and other items that can’t be sold online
  • Medicines, health supplements, and other items that can’t be sold without a permit or report
  • Media harmful to minors, adult products
  • Pirated copies, copyright-infringing merchandise, counterfeit goods
  • Ticket transactions that violate laws such as the Public Performance Act
  • Personal information, accounts, and other illegal or inappropriate items
  • Any other content/products that UniVent deems inappropriate

Please be sure to turn on the adult-only setting for events and products that include adult content. The adult-only setting is a feature that checks participants’ age; it doesn’t let you sell the prohibited items above. If alcohol is served at the event venue, the organizer is responsible for following the relevant laws.

6. Protect Personal Information and Privacy

  • Event organizers and sellers must use participants’/buyers’ personal information only for the defined purposes, such as event operations and delivery.
  • If you upload a participant list collected outside UniVent to send notices, please first make sure that you obtained the necessary consent when you collected that list.
  • Don’t upload images that involve someone’s portrait rights or personal information without their consent.
  • Responsibility for personal information leaks lies with the organizer/seller handling that information.

7. Be Truthful About Events and Products!

  • Event details and product information must match reality.
  • False information, selling counterfeits, and exaggerated advertising are considered fraud.
  • If you spot a problem, please report it to the UniVent Customer Support Center . We’ll review it and take action.

8. Using Cheers, Reviews, and AI the Right Way

  • A cheer payment is an amount that participants add to show their support for the organizer. Don’t use it for refund abuse, as a way to move money, or as a substitute for receiving payment for other transactions.
  • The organizer is responsible for how cheer payments are used and how they are handled for tax purposes. Cheer payments aren’t donations, so donation receipts can’t be issued for them.
  • Don’t post fake reviews or reviews written in exchange for a reward, and don’t manipulate reviews or cheer messages.
  • Text written by Uni (AI) is a draft for reference only. Be sure to check it before posting, and don’t post false information or anything that infringes on others’ rights. Entering other people’s personal information or confidential information into Uni isn’t allowed either.

9. If You Run a Cloakroom

  • Please let participants know in advance about storage hours, items that can’t be stored (valuables, hazardous materials, etc.), and how items that aren’t picked up will be handled.
  • The organizer running the cloakroom is responsible for any loss of or damage to stored items. UniVent only provides drop-off and pick-up records and verification tools and doesn’t store the items itself.
  • If a participant has lost their claim tag, be sure to follow the lost-tag handover procedure, which includes checking their name and contact information, comparing photos, and having them sign a pledge.

10. Operational Authority

  • To keep things running in a healthy way, UniVent may remove events/products, suspend accounts, or limit visibility when necessary.
  • Depending on the severity of the violation, sanctions proceed in stages: warning → temporary suspension → permanent suspension.
  • Serious or repeated violations may result in immediate suspension without going through these stages.
